Welcome to L’oeil Photography, where identity, healing, and beauty collide. I’m Kamara Eley, a Baltimore-based photographer, creative, and founder of this portrait brand built on purpose, intention, and transformation.
L’oeil, which means “The Eye” in French, was born in a season of deep personal refinement that reshaped how I saw myself and the world around me. In that quiet place, I didn’t just discover a love for photography. I discovered a calling. What began as a spark became a flame when a dear friend, Jaun, placed a camera in my hands. That moment of love and belief helped activate the vision inside of me and marked the beginning of something far greater than I imagined.
L’oeil Photography is more than just capturing a good photo. It is about restoring perspective. Every session is designed to be a safe, uplifting space where you can show up fully and feel seen for who you truly are. Whether it’s a headshot, a portrait, or a milestone session, the goal is always the same: to reflect your light, your story, and the beauty within.
